Money360 is celebrating this weekend after Thanksgiving with a review of ten personal finance sites that I visit every day without fail. These ten sites provide a large helping of food for thought on personal finance topics and my day wouldn’t be complete without the opportunity to visit them. Please, give these sites a click.
If you want a veritable flood of personal finance information, you really can’t beat Yahoo! Finance. The amount of information that flows through here on a daily basis is just incredible.
There is literally so much to read here that one (unless they’re in the finance business) really can’t keep up with all of it. I read most of the columnists and browse through the news, but there is so much more there that I’ve not even tapped yet.
But it’s not really the flow of information that makes Yahoo! Finance essential to me; it’s the personalization aspects. I can really quickly keep track of the specific stocks and funds that I’m interested in and find information and news related to those stocks. This enables me to keep tabs on what’s happening without spending much time each day doing research. That alone makes Yahoo Finance a key place for me to be.
